High Open Surface Area
With our Taper process, we realize an high open surface area, because we are able to cut the perforations close to each other with minimum loss to the mechanical strength of the metal. This is the result of our Taper WaterJet Technology that ensures minimum heat and force transfer to the metal. Open area may increase up to 100% to traditional punched plates, laser cut plates or Wedge Wire elements (see graph comparison Wedge Wire).
Because of this, our elements realize a more cost effective solution in filtration applications. More flow through an element will increase production output and lower the pressure drop over the element. From a construction point of view, a new filter vessel may be build smaller when our elements are used, reducing building costs significantly.
